Detection principle

The HUD-2000 is a specialized device developed by IYASAKA for automotive manufacturers to measure and correct image distortion in HUD systems. The test bench consists of: a ground alignment device for vehicle centering, a mechanical arm (optional 6-axis robot), an integrated camera system, HUD correction software, and an electrical control system. The robotic arm positions the camera at the drivers eye level, while the cameras simulated downward angle is precisely calibrated to match human vision. Using high-magnification lenses, the system captures images projected through the windshield and transmits them to image analysis software. The software identifies specific points in the captured images to calculate distortion ratios in both horizontal (H) and vertical (V) directions. When these ratios exceed manufacturer specifications, the system automatically applies correction parameters until compliance is achieved.
